Tomorrow and after tomorrow, November 21-22 Russian Orthodox priest Father Gavriil will again be conducting church services: a Vigil and Divine Liturgy in CHURCH SLAVONIC with sermon and conversations in RUSSIAN at St. Petka Serbian Orthodox Church ( 1712 5th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208 , http://www.stpetkanashville.org ), a location near downtown (Germantown) Nashville. As usual, a small Russian choir will be participating.
The acting schedule is:
- Tomorrow, on Friday, November 21, 7 pm – Vigil. Those interested in a confession will be accommodated during the reading hours and after the service.
- AFter tomorrow, on Saturday, November 22, 10:00 am – Divine Liturgy with Holy Communion. Orthodox Christians, who are going to receive the Holy Communion, must be prepared. It’s preferable that most confessions take place on Friday. However, those not able to attend then will be accommodated on Saturday if they arrive 30 minutes prior to service start.
- After Liturgy, there will be a modest potluck trapeza.
On Friday and Saturday, Father Gavriil is available for custom home services, such as child baptism, blessing a home, or a specialized prayer service at home or church (commemoration services for repose, special moleben for ill, water blessing services, and other).
